Destroy & Rebuild Custom Social Study Sneaker Release

"Destroy and Rebuild" is the name of the series celebrating the union of regional powers Social Study and claim. Releasing five pairs of hand customized shoes plus other goodies on July 7th, the name carries much significance. Firstly, in the Supreme Mathematics philosophy the number 7 has a positive meaning (destroy) and a negative meaning (rebuild), but the phrase also sums up claim's approach to sneaker customizing.

Featuring hand distorted leather, hand sewn accents, accessories, homemade dyed laces and hand painted details, the "Destroy and Rebuild" series is the peak of claim's takeover thus far with that silent but deadly method. Individually numbered, the sneakers let all those know that you're part of the claim army.

claim goods is a new venture for Brooklyn based but Frederick born seasoned artist/ designer Paul Bryant. A social commentary on the obsession with ownership in our increasingly global hierarchy of value, claim promotes that nothing and everything is ours at the same time. Using the ultimate symbol of commodification of the bar code as its logo, claim has one motto- "Make it your own."
